School History

Highland City Elementary School has been under the leadership of 14 principals during its 90 years of existence.  Through name changes, fire,  grade configuration changes, boundary changes, and area growth, our school has remained the backbone of the proud and historic Green Hornet alumni group and continues to be an educational leader, setting the standard for academic excellence.
